CANCELLATION POLICY

Please kindly give 48 hours notice. If canceling with fewer than 48 hours notice, or you do not show for your session, you will be charged in full. If you feel sick or have symptoms of illness, please always cancel your appointment. I will honor this as well.

When you register for a class or workshop, a space is held especially for you. If you’re unable to attend for any reason, the registration fee is non-refundable, and cannot be transferred as credit to another class or workshop. Thank you for your understanding.

Scope of Practice & Emotional Safety

My work is therapeutic in nature, but I am not a trauma therapist or psychotherapist, and my classes, workshops, and private sessions are not intended to directly treat or process trauma.

Movement and embodied practices can, however, open unexpected doorways. Memories, emotions, sensations, images, energy, or past experiences may sometimes arise through the body. These experiences can feel pleasurable, illuminating, tender, challenging, or painful, and are a natural possibility when engaging in deeper therapeutic and expressive movement practices.

I will always do my best to create a grounded, respectful, and supportive environment for whatever may emerge, while honoring the boundaries of my professional scope. If something arises during our work that would be better supported by a healing professional or a licensed mental health or trauma professional, I may gently encourage you to seek additional support.

I have trusted therapists and other healing professionals within my network, and when appropriate, am happy to offer referrals so that you can receive the kind of care and support that is best suited to what you are experiencing.

Privacy & Confidentiality

Your privacy matters to me. I understand that therapeutic movement and embodied practices can be personal, and I am committed to treating what you share with care, sensitivity, and respect.

Private Sessions
What you share with me during a private session—whether verbally, emotionally, or through your movement and embodied experience—will be treated as private and confidential. I will not intentionally share personal information about you or your sessions with others without your permission, except when I am legally required to do so.

Please understand that I am not a licensed psychotherapist or medical provider, and the confidentiality of our work may not carry the same legal protections as communication with a licensed mental health or medical professional.

Classes & Workshops
Group movement experiences sometimes invite personal sharing or vulnerable moments. I ask everyone participating in classes and workshops to respect one another's privacy and not share another participant's personal experiences, stories, or disclosures outside of the group. Because these are shared spaces, however, I cannot guarantee the confidentiality of information voluntarily shared in a group setting.

Personal Information & Your Website
Any personal information you provide when contacting me, registering for a class or session, joining a mailing list, or making a payment will be used only for purposes related to communicating with you and providing my services. I do not sell or knowingly share your personal information for advertising or marketing by other businesses.

Some information may be processed through third-party services used for scheduling, payment processing, email communication, or website hosting. Those services maintain their own privacy policies and practices.

Photography & Recording
I will not intentionally photograph, film, or publicly share identifiable images, video, testimonials, or personal stories from private sessions without your permission. When photography or recording is planned for a class, workshop, or event, participants will be informed and given an opportunity to communicate that they do not wish to be photographed or recorded.

I want you to feel that your privacy, dignity, and personal boundaries are respected within the spaces we share.
